2023 Mitsubishi Lineup
The 2023 Mitsubishi lineup is set to be one of the most impressive in the company’s history. Market trendsetters, such as the Outlander, Eclipse Cross, and Mirage, have been upgraded for the model year, and the return of Mitsubishi Ralliart signals the beginning of a new era for the automaker. We go into detail on all three of these models and the restoration of the Ralliart brand below.
The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander

The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander is a well-equipped and roomy seven-seater SUV. This SUV comes in eight trim levels: the ES, SE Special Edition, SE, SE Tech, Black Edition, SEL, SEL Touring Package, and SEL Premium Package. It comes with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine granting 181 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque, regardless of trim level. That engine comes tied to a one-speed continuously variable transmission. This affords the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander efficient mileage ratings, at 24 mpg in town and 31 mpg on the open road.
It’s available with a nine-inch infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SXM Traffic and Travel Link, HD Radio, Bluetooth, and voice recognition programming. Its best available sound system is a 10-speaker Bose system with an amplifier and a digital signal processor. This Outlander can tow up to 2,000 pounds and carry up to 1,599 pounds in an area measuring 11.7 cubic feet or 79.7 cubic feet with a seating area.

Every trim level comes with an efficient 1.5L turbo four-cylinder engine generating 152 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes tied to a continuously variable transmission. This core combination gives the 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 25 mpg on city streets and 28 mpg on the highway.
It’s available with an 8-inch navigation-capable infotainment system with HD radio, digital phone capabilities, app mirroring through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice command recognition, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Four-speaker and six-speaker sound systems are available for this SUV. This Eclipse Cross can tow up to 1,500 pounds and carry up to 1,158 pounds in an area measuring 23.4 cubic feet or 50.1 cubic feet with a seating area.
The standard convenience and comfort features in the 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross include an HVAC system with under-seat ducts, fade-to-off interior lighting, a manually tilting and telescoping steering column, one-touch up-and-down power windows, a pair of 12-volt DC power outlets, cloth upholstery, and metal-look and piano black interior trim. The 2023 Mitsubishi Mirage
The 2023 Mitsubishi Mirage is a maneuverable five-seater city hatchback available in the ES, LE, SE, and Black Edition trim levels. It comes with an interesting 1.2L three-cylinder engine providing 78 horsepower and 74 lb-ft of torque. Like the Outlander and the Eclipse Cross, it features a continuously variable transmission. It gets 36 mpg in the city and 43 mpg on the open road, making it the most fuel-efficient vehicle on this list.
This Mirage comes with a 7-inch infotainment center with Smartphone-link Display Audio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto app mirroring, and Bluetooth programming. Its voice-activated radio is connected to a set of four speakers. This Mirage can tow 1,653 pounds and carry up to 903 pounds of cargo in an area measuring 17.1 cubic feet or 47 cubic feet with a seating area.
The 2023 Mitsubishi Mirage comes with standard comfort and convenience features, such as cloth upholstery, automatic air conditioning, a day-night rear-view mirror, one-touch up-and-down power windows, cruise control with steering wheel controls, and piano black, chrome, and metal-look interior trim. Interior convenience and comfort options include a leather and metal-look gear shifter, combination synthetic leather and cloth upholstery with special stitching, a leather and piano black steering wheel, heated six-way adjustable front bucket seats, and remote keyless entry.
The Restoration of the Ralliart Brand
The Ralliart brand of Mitsubishi vehicles was originally inspired in design and engineering by the racing division run by Mitsubishi. The lessons learned by the racing division allowed Mitsubishi to improve its lineup of vehicles in many ways, from improved all-wheel-drive responsiveness to more efficient electric vehicle power storage and transfer systems. The original Ralliart brand was discontinued during a general market downturn during an economic crisis in 2010 but was restored as of 2023.
Mitsubishi has added five vehicles to the Ralliart lineup for the 2023 model year: the Outlander, Outlander Sport, Outlander PHEV, Mirage, and Eclipse Cross. The Outlander PHEV is a particularly notable addition to the lineup. It features a pair of electric motors tied to a 20 kWh battery providing 54 miles of electric-only driving capacity. This means drivers who stick close to home will almost never have to put gas in their hybrid. The classic Ralliart Lancer and Ralliart Galant are not returning yet, but their restoration is a considerable possibility as the line gears up over the coming years.
Mitsubishi is offering an incredible 40th Anniversary Special Edition Outlander with power-folding mirrors and many other high-tech convenience features. The Outlander became Mitsubishi’s most in-demand vehicle for the 2021 and 2022 model years, so drivers across the globe are sure to welcome this special edition.
All these incredible models, including the awesome Ralliart brand variants, are available at Performance Mitsubishi in Delray Beach, Florida.
